(University of Belgrade, 2000) and Ph.D. (University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, 2005) in chemistry. From 2005-08, she was a Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation postdoctoral fellow in the laboratory of Chris Walsh at Harvard Medical School. She started her independent career at UCSF in 2008. Danica is a Professor of Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, member of UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, and is associate director of Quantitative Biosciences Institute (QBI) at UCSF. She also serves as associate director of UCSF's Chemistry and Chemical Biology graduate program. Link: UCSF Profile |
